According to an articlepublished by (Parsons 2017) entitled   10 Vegetables That Can Substitute forMeat, Tofu is thenumber one replacement for meat. Tofu or bean curd is made from soya. It isrich in protein and a great source of amino acids, iron, calcium and othermicro-nutrients. The meat-basedfood product that we chose to substitute tofu with is burger patty. Burgers arewidely regarded as a favorite in terms of meat products. It is consisted ofground meat, vegetables and condiments that is served on a bun.

It is rich inprotein but a great contributor to weight gain that leads to an unhealthylifestyle. It can cause harmful effects like high blood pressure, diabetes andeven stress.
