As their overall percentage has fallen a bit for women but for men it has risen.Domestic Violence on ChildrenReports of children being affected by domestic violence and abuse were 77% in last Four years. The charity received record no of class from adults were 4,749 more than three-quarters from 2012/13 the callers describe the facts or calling the charity after seeing bruises on children or seeing there mother covered with bruises and the parent fighting every time or father being emotionally abused. Last year 85% cases were so serious that police or social service were referred compared to as four years agoTwo Sides of Domestic ViolenceIt is one simple question to see both men and women perpetrators and victims be treated the same.It is the amnesty that has taken one side position, they have been dramatic towards men in the domestic area and opposing each and every attempt to solve domestic violence in a truthful matter.According to the recent NCC ( National Crime Council ) reported that violence happens on a fifty-fifty basis to men and women . Media reports states that 88000 men and 230000 women had experienced “Severe Violence” by a partner or spouse but this is 6% men and 15% women which included physical, sexual and emotional abuse . But when we look at the physical abuse, it is 13% men and 13 % women which is 50-50. When domestic violence is included it is 29% women and 26% men. It is men who suffered the brunt of domestic violence and are the ones who lose their family and homes. There has been no difference in the society in seeing the man who is frustrated and throws the wet cloth into the sink and a man who takes a knife and put it on her wife’s throat Domestic Violence or AbuseDomestic abuse it occurs when one person in an intimate relationship or marriage tries to dominate or control another person it includes physical violence.Domestic violence and abuse are used for one purpose to gain superiority or control over other partner be it by the way of fear, guilt, shame, and intimidation to wear you down and keep you under the thumb. The abuser may also threaten you, hurt you or hurt those around you.The law also sees it in the same way the domestic violence and domestic abuse. As there is no regular definition of domestic assault if you are charged with any type of assault(Mental, physical or emotional) you will be charged with domestic assault Domestic violence and abuse do not discriminate it happens among heterosexual couple regarding of what ethnic background, race women are commonly victimized but men are also victimized especially by verbal or emotionEffect on societyDomestic Violence tears apart the main core of the society or community the family it causes a ripple of repercussion that are felt many years. But the one that suffers a lot is family bond it gets harmed and children witnessing the violence committed against there parents find it difficult to trust. These kids have a higher level of anger, disobedience, they also have the similar effect as an adult anxiety, sleep disorder, and behavioral health issues. The Adult victims also suffer from long-term health problems like heart disease, chronic pain, stress disorder & arthritis it increases health care cost for everyone. It also affects the workplace and environment around it a national study found that 7.9 billion workdays were lost because of domestic violence. It also put a large risk on the government and the finance.Domestic violence costs 5.5 billion pounds a year in England a new analysis by Trust for London and the Henry Smith charity highlights that a minimum of 5 million each week in every region are spending. These figures reveal a huge financial impact which if not stopped the public money won’t be able to be used in the right way.ConclusionAfter looking at the facts, domestic violence is an abuse in a physical sense. Physical abuse can be assault or mental cause both have a traumatic effect. So if not control the future of the country is not in a good state as the amount of money spent on the refugee camps and the campaigns will scare the money resource and will decrease the production of upcoming developments. The society is also being damaged in a sense that the children are being affected as they are the other future of the country and world if they will suffer the future is at dark and the risk of future not being developed. Women are also being hurt, raped and battered women will give a bad name to the society and put fear in the women they’ll risk freedom and life and women are the backbone of society if they continue to fall the society will crumble. The men who are emotionally and mentally abused will not be able to give their full effort for the betterment and upliftment of the society and their families. As this Staggering number of domestic violence cases are coming up there’s a risk if domestic violence is not stopped it’ll continue to have a devilish impact on the society and on the minds of the people which if not changed will continue to affect the same way as it is as it has been shown in the studies that one in four women and one in six men are affected by domestic violence and domestic abuse .
