Abstract—The GAME EDGE is an application
which
provides the software solution for Institute Of
Aeronautical Engineering Sports Department to track the
budget, register
the Users, schedule games
and manage intra-college tournaments and
as
well as provide information
on Sports events. Sports-
management helps us to
build the apt information to the admin as well as user and we develop this through web page which makes the work of the management
easier. This project gives the required
data either to the user or admin according
to the requested data
provided
by the admin or
user. The solution is provided in the form
of
web application. Thus the solution   provided   will   help   the   department   to manage, track
and report the information through a database system, thereby replacing a
pen
and paper. This project will
help to serve the administrative personnel
with
the better control of classified
information in day to day activities. The main motive behind this
project is to develop a user
friendly system which keeps the track of budget, transaction records and to decrease the level of stress taken by the sports department here the registration process is
only done through
web
base application so
that there will be no need of manual work , the data which has been registered will only seen by admin. This project is reliable to the admin as
well as user.

I. INTRODUCTION

 

 

A sport is any
activity, expertise or commercialism focused on fitness, recreation. For an
extended time, sports are viewed as the simplest way to remain healthy and in
form, however their importance goes a lot of more. As a matter of truth,
enjoying sports teaches life lessons like discipline, responsibility, sureness,
and cooperation. In short, enjoying sports helps your brain grow and makes it
work higher. They develop connections that bond along individuals from all
walks of life. Sports offers a positive perspective wherever we tend to see
falling as the simplest way to find out a way to pickup. Additionally to it,
exertion maybe a good way to induce out of the nerve-wracking faculty life
that’s all concerning displays and cluster comes. In fact enjoying sports helps
students relax and cut back their anxiety.

 

The Game
Edge objective is to provide which manages the activity of many sports
at a time. Here, we developed an application called GAME
EDGE  

 

 

 

which provides  the
 software
 solution  for Institute of Aeronautical
Engineering
Sports Department to track the budget, register the users, schedule
games and manage intra-college tournaments and as well as provide information on
Sports events. This project is mainly
based on web application where there will be admin and user which are considered as the two main modules where students will be registered
for the game,
admin can update the details of the games. Here we
open
a web application
where admin and the user
plays a key role of registration of games, those
games which will be held only
in our college
premises.
The main motto of our project is to decrease the level of stress taken by the sports department  here  the
 registration  process  is  only
done through web base application so 
that there
will be no need of manual work , the data which
has
been registered will only seen by admin.

 

 

 

II. LITERATURE SURVEY

III. PROPOSED METHODOLOGY

 

 

In the proposed Sports Event Management
system student will get all the knowledge of various games and the venue. The student can get registered
from anywhere and at any time. By using this system student
can save plenty of time
and effort.
The
student can easily get the information
from anywhere. A new system which
is helpful
to both
users (players)
as well as sports department.
Through
the automated system, Users will save time. It will
administrate services expeditiously. Data storing is less
complicated. It will permit access to reports and
files at all times. Complete information
regarding game
details and   schedules   can   be   accessed through the webpage. Every user would be notified about the status of Intra College tournaments. Registered data will be secure, accessible
solely by the admin.  The
prime purpose of this “Game
Edge” is to create a fully fledged web application
which would communicate with the remote server
to send and retrieve data as per requirement. This application works when there is internet connectivity. The main purpose of this application is to provide accurate information
to the users and
College Management about the games for the
Institute
of Aeronautical Engineering. This web
application 

generates meticulous reports related to
the
Game Edge i.e. game id, type of the game,
number of players, enrollment,
registration, feedback. These reports highlight various services and features of the sports which can be subjected to improve sports management system. This interface is user friendly and effective. It is very
helpful by
providing a simpler

This system is
accessible
either
by an administrator or user where in the administrator has the permission to create/update
the
record into the database. This web application
reduces paper work
and

The login interface allows user and admin to sign in. New users have to register to sign
in. There are two user types: Administrator, User (Player).

The administrator controls the games and activities. Admin has access to registered student information.

The admin also responds to the student queries and

feedback. The admin can manage all the activities like he have to add the games, schedule the dates
for the games which are to be held. The admin needs to upload the results after the tournament has been completed.
He is
having a module to view the users
who have registered into the website and also the users who
have
enrolled
for the games. The admin plays the major role in the whole process which is done.

 

The user
views the game and
then registers for games. Accordingly, plays the tournament which
has
been scheduled. The user is provided with an
option called feedback in which the entered text can be viewed by the admin.

Above architecture diagram
represents mainly flow of request from
the
users to database through servers. In this scenario overall system
is designed
in three tiers separately using three layers called
presentation layer, business layer, data link layer.
This project was developed using 3 tier
architecture.

 

 

IV.CONCLUSION

 

 

Now a day everyone wants to know the information quickly.
This project
permits the user the and admin to operate
and perform
with ease. Its   prime
objective is to reduce workforce
and
expenses involved. All the while providing the requested information and data. The System is meant to be user friendly.
Game Edge helps us to build the apt information to the admin as well as user and we
develop this through web page which makes the work of the management
easier. This project gives
the requested data to the user or admin
according to
the data
provided by the admin or user. It is helpful for the management
to enter details, where the management
can
provide requirements according to the given data. In order to get the further details from any of the participant
management
can
directly access through the web
page provided. The main aspire of our project is decrease the man power and paper work as well as
to give the particular requested data either to the user or to the admin.
